Amanda's Highlights

Growing up as the youngest of four siblings, I learned early on that life doesn't always give you a smooth path—but it always provides an opportunity to grow. The world wasn't always kind. I became an easy target for teasing—my fiery red hair, glasses, scattered freckles, and unique last name made me stand out in ways that felt uncomfortable. But those early experiences were my first teachers in emotional intelligence. Living with an alcoholic father forced me to become an expert in reading emotions, in understanding the unspoken, in navigating turbulent emotional landscapes.

My journey of personal transformation wasn't linear. I found myself trapped in a controlling, emotionally abusive relationship—a scenario far too familiar for many. But unlike my past, I chose to write a different narrative. I escaped, reclaimed my power, and began the challenging work of rebuilding myself.

My professional path reflects my personal resilience. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I learned that healing isn't just about treating physical symptoms—it's about understanding the whole person. This philosophy drove me into healthcare leadership, where I could combine my clinical expertise with my passion for empowering others.

My hunger for growth never subsides. I'm a perpetual student, constantly diving into leadership principles, studying methodologies to find a map to understanding my intrinsic motivations.

Being a recovering workaholic and a recovering people-pleaser, I've learned that true success isn't about doing more, but about doing what matters. My action-oriented nature, once a coping mechanism, is now my superpower. I'm motivated by challenges that seem impossible—because I know firsthand that impossible is just a perspective.

Today, I stand as a healthcare executive who doesn't just lead teams, but transforms them. My story isn't about perfection—it's about progress. It's about turning childhood wounds into wisdom, transforming survival skills into leadership strengths.

My mission is simple: To help others recognize that their greatest obstacles can become their most powerful launching pads.
